How to host a safe gathering
A safe gathering during the Covid-19 pandemic means you have to follow some rules:
- Invite from the small group of people you know and trust. Your “isolation pod” should be made up of only those people who you know are following safe protocols and have not put themselves in risky situations (such as a crowded mall, bar or a gym).
- Remind your guests to stay home if they’ve been exposed to the virus in the last 14 days or showing any symptoms.
- Host outdoors if you can. If you must head inside, keep your boat well-ventilated.
- Greet wisely and maintain your distance.
- Ask everyone to keep a mask handy – when not eating or drinking, especially when inside, put a mask on.
