Great spot right inside the channel to the St John’s River. The facility exceeded my expectations and the staff was very helpful. Will be our go to spot when head out.

The staff here is amazing! They went well out of their way to accommodate us at the last minute, and made us feel welcome on arrival! They even set up an extra shore power cord for us when ours couldn't reach the pedestal. The facilities were very nice, heads were very clean! There was a nice green space to walk our pup too!
My only gripe is with the location. Right at the entrance to the St Johns River is convenient, but there is nothing but 500 feet of open water between you and every giant commercial vessel that passes by. We got rocked by wake all night long. And I mean ROCKED. Like, the eggs in my fridge are all "pre-scrambled" now. I thought our mooring lines would snap at certain points when the big ships passed. I noticed a few broken cleats on the T-head when we arrived, and after a night at the carnival ride, I think I know why they broke. It was easily one of the roughest nights I've ever spent on the boat, and we were attached to the dock!

They are still rebuilding after the hurricane damaged things. I had to stretch my shore power line across as far as it could go to another slip due to the hurricane damage removed most of the equipment. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The waters are choppy and full of large wakes from very large commercial ships. The marina is clean and laundry is free.

The staff at the marina were very nice and helpful. The marina is largely destroyed from Ian and Nicole. Many of the floating docks are in twisted rubble. The water doesn’t work. Even if the repairs are made, which the marina staff did say was happening, the marina is very exposed to river traffic. Container ships and lots of other commercial traffic are moving day and night with their wakes hitting most slips broadside. We’ll consider this emergency only going forward.
A Note from the Marina:We apologize for the less than satisfactory experience and appreciate the opportunity to respond to your comments. Our finger piers are being removed due to damage sustained during Hurricanes Ian and Nicole. Our water to the pier was just reconnected, but only to the first pedestal. The marina location is very close to the inlet and the boat traffic and current are certainly a challenge. We hope to welcome you back for an improved experience in the future!

Many of the docks are falling apart which represents a safety concern. The bathrooms and showers, although clean, had a lock on the main door that resulted in my wife getting stuck inside and me having to call fire and rescue to get her out. No night security number to call. Overall a poor experience.

The people were great and very helpful. The 24 hour showers available was a plus. I will definitely be back when we make it back that way. Only recommendation is to have more stuff available to purchase for repairs or items needed for breakdowns. There nothing in the area for boat items.

The staff is amazing… they are warm, friendly, professional, generous and skilled. We are new to sailing and we appreciate respect and professionalism… the staff here embody these values … they are service oriented and go out of their way to make your stay memorable, Charlie and Rob… you knocked it out of the park for us and we are truly grateful. If this is what you can do when short staffed it will be the envy of other marinas when fully staffed! Thank you.

Staff were great and went above and beyond to keep us happy. The slip was a little rolly due to being right next to the channel. Large ship traffic was an inconvenience but not horrible. Restrooms were clean and showers too. Wifi was not working but I expect it will be fixed.

Difficulty communicating with staff. Alarm went off all night and made it impossible to use facilities (toilets and showers). Laundry dryer was broken. The staff did not call me back in spite of calling multiples times, sending texts. That said, they gave me a refund for one night.
A Note from the Marina:We would like to thank this boater for their feedback and apologize again for the inconvenience. Corrective action was taken and the alarm issue has been resolved. It was unfortunate that this happened and we can assure you it will not happen again. We would love to welcome this boater back to FGIM again in the future.

Personnel very nice and accommodating. The marina however is located directly across from where the river meets the ocean making your stay there extremely rough if the wind is off the ocean. What’s worse is that all of the slips are parallel to the river itself. No 5mph limit in this part of the river so every wave hits your boat broadside. Big freighter ships pass through all hours of the day and night. Your boat slams into the floating docks with force comparable to a 40 knot blow. At 3:30 in the morning, a freighter passed through sending everything in our cabinets flying. Even if the weather is bad, you and your boat would be safer on anchor.
