We were not excited that our transient slip was on the outside of the fuel dock, exposed to waves and wakes. The added insult was that the marina allows access to the General Public, so we had a constant stream of people coming by and peering into our boat. We didn't know we were paying all that money to enter into a boat show. Not impressed.

Came in for one night on the way to Charleston, SC. Really enjoyed the facilities, the staff was amazing and super friendly. Would definitely come again but we would like to stay a little longer and see all the sites next time!

The GFI breaker Won't hold- try to reset But still wont-work. The folks at the Marina said it was the GFI breaker name if they knew that the breaker wouldn't hold. Why haven't they fixed the problem? This will be our 3rd day with no power.

We'd like to thank this boater for staying with us at Fernandina Harbor Marina, and apologize for the issue encountered. Fernandina Harbor Marina was rebuilt to the stringent standards of the 2017 NEC (National Electrical Code). This may affect some vessel's ability to connect to the power pedestals due to the overcurrent protective devices that supply the marina. Additionally, in times of heavy wind and rain, water and moisture can cause some vessels to frequently trip the GFI, which is a function of the system. Our team assisted this vessel to reset their GFI and once complete, they advised all was well. We hope to welcome Hotel California back for a future visit.

As I pulled in, after running aground in the middle of the channel in the Amelia river, I was greeted by Rob and handed a bag with a local map and magazine. Over my 5 day stay i was able to get a dental repair done and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were there to handle dock lines and anything else needed. The showers and restrooms were clean, laundry facility was in great shape. Easy uber to the grocery store and the downtown of Fernandina was quaint and delightful. Even though on the ICW, the marina is a no wake zone and quiet at night.

The marina employees were so helpful and very kind. The showers/bathrooms/marina lounge were very clean with AMAZING A/C. We had difficulty navigating the online booking form on the marina website, but the marina team helped us get it figured out.

Most of the experience was a positive one. Only one night was mixed up with a slip mishap… It was addressed the following morning, but 24 hr access to a dock mate or manager would have been convenient at the time…

I was not comfortable with the marina allowing so many people onto the docks that were not boaters. At night especially. You guys need to fix the gates so that only boaters can access the docs at night.

The slip was wonderful, and the dock people were very accommodating. However, I was a little disappointed that despite making the reservation earlier in the day, we were never given a slip assignment. We tried calling, as well as hailing on 16, but no answer. In fairness, we did arrive at about 7 PM, when our estimated ETA was 8 PM. But even up until 8 PM, there was no response. Basically, we just had to hunt around until we found something that was open that we could fit into, so that made things a little difficult, particularly because we were having engine and steering problems. All that said, I would definitely stay here again. And we did appreciate being able to stay an extra night beyond our reservation, due to inclement weather. The marina is very convenient, and as I said the people on the dock were very helpful. One other thing – the reservation email said fuel was not available, but the website said it was. It turned out that fuel was available, so we filled up.

This is one of our absolute favorite marinas and small town to visit! The marina itself is easy to get in and out of. The dock hands are VERY helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are DISGUSTING. The City of Fernandina needs to demolish and rebuild the bathrooms. I wonder if any of the City Commissioners have ever stepped foot into them? I hope they provide funding soon to upgrade the bathrooms!

Have you considered putting up large sign on the dock or floating No Wake signs? Thursday morning’s wake from a passing boat was so large as to cause damage to the boat in front of us. This is my third time with you. Twice we’ve seen clueless boaters go by tossing a mega wave.

Yes, sir we have placed "No Wake" signs on our pilings. In addition, our dockhands respond promptly to any passing boat that is producing a wake with radio calls and airhorn warnings. We value boater safety here and frequently contact the local law enforcement when the wake of a passing boat becomes too excessive. We will continue to do our due diligence in regard to this problem, and we would love to welcome you back for an improved stay in the future.

Overall a nice place to snag a slip. We arrived a little after 6pm when they close but called to make arrangements which they accommodated. Unfortunately they forgot to leave us keys to the rest rooms and showers which kind of stinks after a long sail. We will be back and hope that better arrangements can be made next time.

We really enjoyed our month at FHM, all the deck hands were extremely hard working and would do anything to help. Being downtown Fernandina is very convenient with lots of restaurants and music, the beach is a walk or Uber away. My one suggestion that the rest rooms land aundry area need updating.

The Marina staff were courteous and knowledgeable. Access to town and activities was perfect. Bathrooms were ok. Hooks for the shower were missing. Captains lounge was full of tv watchers so we did not go inside. This was not a problem since we rarely use a lounge at a Marina anyway.

The town of Fernandina Beach is great, and the marina is well positioned to take advantage. The staff is friendly and helpful. The negatives are the showers are gross and old. They need to be renovated and maintained. The current is strong here, the western winds kick up waves, and I've seen many boats get damaged here. The fuel price is $2/gal more than Port Consolidated 200 yards away. Despite the high daily rate there are no other amenities (pool, etc).

I am a delivery captain. There was a gentleman from the service who was fantastic!!! (I think name was Joe and he had been in the service?) The other hand was a man who tried to stay in the office. (I think Mike but not sure, I think he was a manager?) He was on the dock when we were fueling up to leave and we were standing in front of each other. I started asking a question and he away down the dock and was not even listening. I am a gentleman yet on this one, I raised my voice and said, "I was talking to you". he turned and exclaimed "It's very busy sir". everyone was all set around the dock. I walked up to the office and apologized and said I would pay my bill. I also had paid for 2 of the suction cups you were selling. I did not have them so asked (Mike?) where were the cupholders? He said the first mate took the bag. We got 3-4 miles away when I asked the mate for them. She said she never had the bag and neither had I. I guess he forgot to give them to us, and you had our phone! I would stay again but would avoid "Mike". The place otherwise was great.
