
The 42nd Anniversary of Sailfest will be taking over the streets of New London, Connecticut this weekend July 12th-14th. The festival is a must-visit event on the East Coast and we have great marina partners in the area for you to stay with. Don’t have plans yet? Head to Sailfest 2019!
Sailfest 2019 is the biggest and premiere summer event in Southeastern Connecticut. Spanning the entire weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to experience everything from an amazing fireworks display, boat tours, water activities, amusement rides and games, entertainment, live music, and over 200 vendors throughout town. Entire streets will be shut down for the festival giving guests easy access to all the activities. From food and shopping to great events, there will be something for everyone!
Boat Tours
The Mystic Whaler will be at Sailfest 2019 for people to tour Saturday and Sunday. Guests can actually board the ship and go for a sail around the river! Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for children ages 5-12, and for their safety, children under 5 aren’t allowed on the cruise.

America’s Fireboat – Fire Fighter will be available for tours and viewing at Sailfest 2019 Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the crew will be having a water display from Noon-3pm. This vessel is one of the most award-decorated fireboats in the world! A must see while at the festival.


Free Concerts
Performers will take the multiple Sailfest 2019 stages by storm all weekend long. There will be new and upcoming artists as well as local and homegrown stars! The performances range in music type, but all day Sunday will be Gospel.

Sailfest 2019 Firework Display
If you missed seeing fireworks on July 4th, fear not! Sponsored by K-Hits 100.9 FM and Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, the Sailfest fireworks extravaganza will be one for the books. On Saturday July 13th at 9pm get yourself ready for one impressive show!

Saturday – 10:00AM to 11:00PM
Sunday – 9:00AM to 6:00PM
Thamesport Marina

This gem on the Thames River has everything you will need for a comfortable stay! The marina is a little less than 2 miles from all the festivities and can be easily accessed with rideshare, taxi, and even water ferry! Thamesport is the perfect location for those looking to visit the festival and head back to their boat for a relaxing evening.
Crocker’s Boatyard Inc

The scenic Crocker’s Boatyard is an even shorter distance to the festival-less than 1 mile! Visitors can easily walk or take rideshares/taxis to the waterfront activities. You’ll even be able to see the fireworks from your dock. This marina has less transient dockage available, so book now to insure your fun weekend!
