July was all about Florida and we have added three new Florida marinas to the Snag-A-Slip family that are sure to wow. Enjoy some well needed RnR by the palm trees and add these Florida marinas to your cruise before the season is over!
Sea Bird Marina
We love the Florida Keys! Sea Bird Marina is located at Mile Marker 69.5 of Long Key Island closest to Channel 5 Bridge and Tennessee Light. This location is the perfect place for fishermen as well — Fishing Sprigger Bank is just a short distance away and, as a bonus, the marina has a great bait and tackle shop on-site for you to stock up before your trip out on the water! The marina offers full service, so if your boat is in need of some RnR, this is the place to dock! If you don’t own a boat yet and want to get out on the water, fear not! Sea Bird Marina also offers center console boat rentals on-site. Stay for the day or for longer with the marina’s cozy two-bedroom vacation rentals. This is a destination you won’t want to miss out on this season!
Salty Sam’s Marina
Salty Sam’s Marina in Fort Myers, Florida is a must visit for those looking for a relaxing tropical paradise off the Gulf of Mexico! Palm trees line the property and the two on-site restaurants! Visit Parrot Key Caribbean Grill or Bootleggers Waterfront BBQ for beautiful waterfront dining and delicious maritime fare. The Snack Shop will hold you over until dinner if you need a midday snack. Salty Sam’s is also one of our favorite full service Florida marinas, and they even offer package deals for maintenance and service! All guests have access to awesome amenities such as the fully stocked ship store, pump and fuel dock, WiFi, laundry facilities, and more. Fill up before embarking on your cruising journey of the Gulf or stay a while and have a great vacation for everyone.
B Ocean
Last but certainly not least, one of our newest Florida marinas is B Ocean — a cozy place to stay in scenic Fort Lauderdale, Florida! The deep water slips can accommodate boats up to 78 feet long and boaters will have access to 30, 50, and 100 amps shore power (we’re looking at you, super yachts 🙂 ). The central location of B Ocean will ensure you always have something fun and new to experience!
