Maryland Yacht Club is conveniently located at the entrance to Rock Creek and provides boaters with easy access to great destinations in the Upper Chesapeake Bay including Baltimore, Rock Hall and more. The marina offers daily and monthly transient slip pricing via Snag-A-Slip. Boaters will enjoy the lively and fun community at the Yacht Club, which is known for its fun social events and great raft ups throughout the season. Guests will also have access to the many amenities on-site, including a pool overlooking the Patapsco River, a small tidal sand beach, and a picnic pavilion.
The Maryland Yacht Club boasts well protected slips with deep water and is known as a convenient "hurricane hole" near Baltimore. In addition to its safe haven status, it's also a secure location in and out of the water. The entire facility is gated and secure, so boaters can rest assured that their property will be protected. Last, but not least, the Maryland Yacht Club has great rates for both gas and diesel! Memberships to the Yacht Club are also available.

Maryland Yacht Club is a very reasonably priced fueling station for both gasoline and diesel fuel.
They were the hosting marina for the 30th ANNIVERSARY of the MTOA in 2021. Excellent!

I can't say enough good things about this marina. The staff, Shawn & Toby, were so kind and helpful. Always there to lend a hand, borrow a vehicle or give you a ride into town for groceries. We booked a month stay there and would do it again in heart beat. The members were friendly as we met so many of them. The marina had planned events for socializing, pool parties and bands on the weekend. We were sad we couldn't stay any longer. Thank you Maryland Yacht Club & Marina or a great stay.

MYC is an excellent facility. While they don't have floating piers, their slips have long finger pliers, so boaters have a choice to back in or pull bow in.

The marina is well kept and has clean facilities. It is removed from a lot of activity. Transportation is needed for shopping and restocking supplies. It is a nice quiet place to visit, easy access, and good views.

We arranged a National Rendezvous Sept 10-13 at MYC. I can’t even tell you how WONDERFUL it was! The staff and Dockmaster are GRACIOUS hosts seeing to our every need and request. We had 50 trawlers and 140 people and it was PERFECT in every way. I would highly recommend MYC for any large event. We had 1 catered lunch, 1 catered breakfast and 3 catered dinners. We were able to use the fire pit for roasting marshmallows by the water and the gazebo for our professional singer. They even accommodated a couple of our members that came in by RV. They had coffee ready on the patio promptly at 7:30am and kept the patio filled with sodas, juice, water, lemonade and tea until 9pm for our members to help themselves. They even made bloody Mary’s and mimosas for our breakfast! Susan, their event manager, Sean, the commodore and his wife Toby, and Carl, the acting dockmaster- could NOT have been more helpful and gracious. We would be glad to share how our rendezvous was a huge success.

Overall great location with easy access to bay/Baltimore. The marina is clean but somewhat isolated with no amenities nearby. The marina staff was sometimes hard to find.

Maryland Yacht Club is great. We enjoy the wide fairways and generous slips as well as the amenities. The club is very family-friendly and is always busy with social events and many other fun activities for adults and kids. We love to bring our family to the pool, have parties in the pavilion and hang out in the club house.

Just inside the entrance to Rock Creek to port, the approach is easy and the water depth is any where from 12 to 15 feet, just make a gentle turn to port once past the channel and the spit and beach that parallels the channel. You cannot miss the brilliant blue roofed Pavilion emblazoned with a bright yellow MYC that sits right by the water and beach area. The piers are traditional fixed piers, in good repair and consistantly being checked for any issues. Assistance with docking is readily available, the Basin Manager is a liveaboard and the entire facility is very secure with an electric gate and nice lighting. The pool area is fun and the showers and washers and dryers work well. An easy and fun marina on the Bay.....don‘t miss this one!

The hospitality and attention to extraordinary customer service at Maryland Yacht Club is top notch. We called ahead with our special requests and were accommodated with ease. It was a crowded week due to the Annapolis Boat Shows and two special events at the club, but they worked us in and made us feel right at home. As a private club, the members assist in managing the facilities. We were on a tight schedule and needed fuel before our early morning departure, so the fuel dock was opened for a few minutes the night before for us. A frontal passage during the week we were there blew winds out of the ENE at 15-20. The docks are tucked in at the bottom of a large hill and well protected. We barely felt a breeze. The approach up the Patapsco River and then into Rock Creek is easy and well marked. Keep an eye out for White Rock Light, an interesting formation for the Chesapeake Bay. Guests are welcome at the Yacht Club and facilities for provisioning and dining out are close by, but you will need to get a ride. The club is off the beaten path, which is the way we like it!
