Centreville Wharf is located at the head of the Corsica River, a major tributary of the Chester River in Centreville, MD. For visitors, the town offers the opportunity to use the transient tie-ups located along the boardwalk. Their alongside dock can accommodate vessels up to 20' LOA with 13' beam and 3' draft, but please be advised there is no shore power offered on site and the docks are unmanned.
On site, the 1.0-acre public landing contains a 26-foot cement ramp that is excellent for launching canoes, kayaks, and powerboats. There is parking for about 12 vehicles. Fishing and crabbing are accessible from this location on the Corsica River and permanent restrooms are available for patrons from April through November. The scenery on the Corsica is a mix of residential development, waterfront estates, wooded shorelines, and large farms. There are nice sandy beaches near the tributary’s confluence with the Chester River, and Emory’s Creek (3 miles downstream from Centreville) is a scenic side trip for paddlers. Vertical runners would be very helpful to prevent boats from floating under the horizontal runners during low tide. I had to utilize a side anchor to keep my boat off the pier during tide swings

It was vey convenient to park our boat here over the weekend as we did some trailer repairs. The only suggestion would be if possible to have real cleats vs the drop down style for security to tie up.
