Family First at Log Pond Marina New Floating Docks

Log Pond Marina on the upper Chesapeake Bay is the sister marina to Havre deGrace Marine Center. Located more centrally in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Log Pond Marina has been family owned and operated since it's opening in 1990. The full-service marina has a fantastic staff of experienced technicians, capable of sail and canvas repairs, mechanical and electrical repairs, and other general engine maintenance needs. Haul out is available using the onsite travel lift, so your vessel will be safely carted around the yacht yard while it gets its tune-up. A fully stocked Ships Store on the property is great for the do-it-yourself projects and for loading up your boat with maintenance knick-knacks for more worry-free cruising.

Want more than just a serve marina? Well, you found it at Log Pond Marina! This marina appeals to cardio junkies and adventure lovers of all kinds. With yoga classes on the docks offered twice a week, as well as paddleboard lessons, you are sure to leave the marina feeling relaxed and renewed. Kayak rentals are available as well for those who want to explore the waters around Havre de Grace. Biking and hiking trails flow through the surrounding acreage, so grab the dog and the family and take a nice walk and enjoy the beauty of the water's edge. Marina was located at a group of townhouses. Seemed to have been designed for the townhouse owners to keep their boats there. Some open slips they use for transients. Just a few amenities. Small laundry and bath area. Small outside seating area. Nice floating docks. Easy entrance once you get to Havre de Grace. Located next to historic part of town that was easily walkable.

Excellent experience. Floating docks are in good shape. Bathhouse was clean. Laundry was reasonable. Highlight was the staff and live aboard. Very friendly and helpful. It was a nice walk to all Havre de Grace has to offer.

9-7-24 Deep water to the marina and at least 7 feet to the face dock as you enter, that is where we tied up. Inside the marina looks skinny. Friendly staff and surrounding community. The marina is not close to town, but not a bad walk or preferable bikes or scooters. The duck museum is a must see if stopping here.

Small, but friendly marina. The layout appears intimidating but turned out to not be difficult for my 35' boat to moor at one of the inside slips. Surrounding condo owners were also friendly as we neighboring slipholders. Location conveniently midway between lighthouse park and downtown.

It was a nice marina with first class bathrooms. The people were friendly and helpful. Restaurants and snacks were in walking distance. I would definitely return again.

The facilities are nice. The staff are very accommodating. The slip holders are friendly and helpful to the transients.

Great Marina in a neat little town. Convenient groceries, train stations, and restaurants. Dock master is a saint. Best marina in area, hidden gem. Floating docks, well protected.

Nice floating docks. Super friendly live aboards who are welcoming and helpful. Several grills and a fire pit. Pump out system works well. Nice town with some really good bars. Lots of great green space to walk the dog. Some wake from passing boats.

We enjoyed the town and marina and would definitely stop again. Fortunate to experience the towns first Friday which was very well done. The marina is run as a satellite operation from another unit, however it works well and all the services worked.
