Family-friendly Fun at Hope Springs Marina

Please note: This marina is not accessible to most sailboats as there is a fixed train bridge with a 26' limit at high tide.

Hope Springs Marina is a full-service marina located on a protected section of beautiful Aquia Creek. This marina offers 180 deep water slips, 4 paved launch ramps, a fully enclosed boathouse, and 700 feet of sandy beach, all just minutes from the Potomac River. Boaters will love this marina's friendly, laid-back vibe, as well as a number of fun amenities on-site that will entertain the whole family. Hope Springs Marina boasts over six acres of parking, a picnic area with a fire-pit, a small beach and a spectacular clubhouse overlooking the marina. Guests are encouraged to gather in the comfortable lounge, where they can cook, lounge, watch TV and whip up some cocktails. There is also a full deck with picnic tables and a gas grill. Looking to explore the water on your jet ski? Hope Springs Marina has unique jet ports for you to use, or even rent year round, at the marina. Hope Springs also has a fitness center on-site, air-conditioned bath and shower facilities, a laundry room and a fully-stocked convenience store that sells food, beer, and wine. Last, but not least, boaters are also able to pump out and fuel up at Hope Springs Marina.

Please contact Snag-A-Slip or the marina at least 48 hours or 72 hours prior to your stay to receive a full refund. There will be no exceptions for cancellations inside of these cancellation periods due to weather or boat issues. Cancellations made less than the required advance period are eligible for a credit towards a future stay at this marina, at the discretion of the dockmaster on site.

Four miles off Potomac on Aquia Creek.. Very modern, clean clubhouse with TV lounge. Current slip charge $2 ft. Helpful, friendly staff.. Easy fueling and good fuel price. Small beach. Nothing nearby, but local restaurant delivers. Good wind and wake protection.. Chart says 4 ft approach MLW, but we had minimum 6 ft in marked channel. Staff report sometimes less depending on tide and wind direction.
