Users Can Now Rent Out Their Privately Owned Dockage, Moorings and Boat Slips on Snag-A-Slip.
You asked, and we listened! Snag-A-Slip is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new tool that connects boaters with users who want to rent out their privately-owned dockage. Our Product Development Manager, Maggie, explains more below:
This new functionality is part of the Snag-A-Slip suite of products for boaters and marinas alike, and follows the release of our redeveloped website, mobile apps in iOS and Android, our marina management software offering, and a whole host of other features and capabilities.
The development comes on the heels of extensive market research showing that users are seeking ways to rent out private dockage, especially in markets where traditional marina slips are limited. The brand-new functionality is the first of its kind in the boat slip reservation industry because it lets both boaters and marinas market their dockage in the same place, thus offering a full range of options to cruising boaters seeking a place to tie up.
Snag-A-Slip’s mission has always been to make boating easier by connecting boaters with available boat slips. With this new tool, private boat slip owners can easily market their space to other boaters by creating a listing via their Snag-A-Slip accounts. In a matter of minutes, users can provide a description of their dockage, photos, amenities, maximum boat dimensions, rates, and the dates that the space is available. From there, the listing is held for review and published once approved.
At Snag-A-Slip, we are committed to listening to our customers and developing new tools to enhance the boating experience. Boaters looking for a private boat slip, dockage or mooring can use Snag-A-Slip as they always have, by typing in a city, state, or location of interest in our search bar. Private boat slip listings will be clearly marked in the search results, interactive map, and profile pages. As always, boaters can also find and rent traditional marina slips and moorings on Snag-A-Slip.
