We love Marina Jacks! Sometimes prefer to grab a mooring ball and spend the difference on a nicer dinner. Great proximity to downtown restaurants.

Excellent - we really enjoyed our stay. We picked up a mooring ball and had the benefit of an anchoring out with the amenities of the marina. The bathroom/shower was immaculate - individual bathrooms with showers, can't be beat. We got in late after hours and with two dogs we needed to get to shore. The marina has a dedicated dinghy dock look on the map of the marina and you will find it - the shore is too rocky meaning submerged little boulders, so watch out. Sophie and Todd were excellent. Highly recommend Marina Jack and their crew!

Great marina and amenities, friendly and helpful staff; having the shuttle boat available for transport from our boat to dock was convenient. A little pricey but that's par for the course. Only suggestion would be to have a ladder or handles at the dinghy dock to make getting in and out easier.

Very rough/bumpy. No shelter except from the east. Many boats passing by mooring area on or near on plane. Very nice Marina, dinghy dock and restaurant otherwise.

Excellent facility and location to Whole Foods, downtown dining and events. The park is wonderful. The dock slip showers and laundry are the best we have seen. Only negative is there is no protection from prevailing winds at the mooring field and can be for extremely unpleasant nights.

Very expensive. Pretty rough waves when winds from anything westerly. Room for improvement with restaurant staff at restaurant at Marina. Dock staff was very nice and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were well kept.

No one answered the phone number or Chanel 16 when we arrived. We tried to find an open ball but most of them were missing ropes. Really bad deal. Would not recommend

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mooring they assigned me already had a boat on it. I suggested another one, and after a short delay, they said okay.

Wide open to wind and waves from all sides except those with an easterly component resulted in substantial vessel motion. During weekends and late afternoons, this was exacerbated by being outside the posted no-wake zone. On the plus side, Marina Jack facilities and support staff were super, as is the onsite restaurant. The proximity to downtown Sarasota is also a plus, as is the dinghy dockage provided at the marina.

Helpful staff at the fuel dock, we stopped for water, keyfob and mooring ball assignment, then pump out on departure. Good restaurant on site and easy access from dinghy dock to downtown shops and restaurants. Many mooring balls lack pendants but there are no wrecks in the mooring field. It is outside the no wake zone for the marina but the main problem is a lot of chop from the bay so it is always rocky except if the wind has an easterly component. Snag-a-slip worked great. Good dinghy dock, but only part is on the secured dock and the door is propped open when the tour boat is going out. Reported dinghy thefts in the area suggest a lock is a good idea.

I had some difficulties when attempting to use the Snag-A-Slip application, but was assisted above and beyond by Savannah, the Assistant GM. Good service is always appreciated, outstanding service has become a rarity and outstanding service is exactly what Savannah provided for us. She clearly has a true talent to identify issues and provide solutions, all while being a very pleasant person to deal with. We travel a good bit on our boat, and I can say with that Savannah sets the service and knowledge bar well above the norm! we will definitely be returning to Marina Jack!!!

Very nice accommodating staff. Nice location and good protection. Both times we were there the buoy we were assigned was already take by another boat. The showers are awesome. The restaurant is very expensive but the food is good.

The mooring field is just outside of Marina Jacks. Use Snag-A-Slip to reserve a mooring. Lots of boat wakes. Dingy dock is by the office. We asked for and received a key fob for the new bathrooms/showers. The pumpouts were not working while we were there. The marina is rebuilding from hurricane damage and is to be applauded for their efforts and will definitely get 5 stars when the work is completed.

Excellent restroom/showers shoreside. Good dingy dock. Friendly helpful staff. Affordable. Free pump out at your boat. Great location. Sarasota has a beautiful waterfront, and vibrant Main Street starts at the marina and is lined with restaurants, bars, and shops. A Whole Foods market is a 15 minute walk, and Publix is just over a mile. Veo rental electric scooters are staged at the marina entrance. The mooring field is somewhat exposed to all winds but east, so it can be a little rollie in a blow.

Tried to radio the marina several times to get a mooring ball assignment. I also called the dockmaster on the phone 5 times and left one voicemail that was never returned. Eventually I just took an open spot, but didn't get a key fob to use the facilities. I understand that you are still rebuilding from the hurricane, but someone should be available to help with transient stays. Also, the voicemail says they are open until 6:00, but they close at 5:00.

Great location, close to shopping, restaurants and library. Public transportation is reliable and can take you to big box stores, beach and even got me to my medical appointment.

This mooring field is very exposed to winds from all directions. On shore we were offered no services such as showers or working wifi. So at $50/night we would have been better off using our anchor.
