Always welcoming. Sheltered from the weather. Someone on hand to help tie up

Reasonably protected location near the top of Watson Bayou. Newly rebuilt marina with good fixed docks, clean showers and restrooms and free laundry. Nearby Gene's Oyster Bar is a character place that should not be missed. No other restaurants, shops, or grocery other than Dollar General in easy reach. The marina is not complete, so the end tie has only a short stretch of dock, the rest is plank and pilings, difficult and unsafe for walking on or tying up. We had great help with docking from the dockmaster who lives on-site. Some wakes from local boaters who use the extensive launch ramp facility next to the marina. Winds from the west can give some chop. In slip pump out no charge with dockage is very convenient.

Fixed docks in adequate condition. Power and water worked. Pump out available, but didn't use. No fuel or on site repair services. There is free laundry, two front loader washers and dryers. Two restaurants within easy walking distance. Seth says you can borrow his truck for further away errands. Not too far off the GICW. Area smells come from nearby chemical plant. 45 minute walk to downtown Panama City, or Uber. Check out the history museum if into that.

Very nice, well-run marina. Seth the owner/manager is super helpful and was waiting at our slip when we arrived. Located in beautiful Watson Bayou, with excellent protection. Clean bathrooms, two showers, free laundry. Power, water and dockside pump-out. No fuel. Nearby town is walkable, with a few stores and restaurants.
