Great Fishing and Easy, Simple Living at Smith Point Marina
Smith Point Marina in Reedville, Virginia is located on the Little Wicomico River about five minutes from the Chesapeake Bay. Boaters looking for a convenient stop while cruising down the coast should check out Smith Point Marina, as Reedville is a common marina stop between Annapolis and Norfolk. This destination is also the perfect place for boaters looking to truly get lost on the water and escape stress.
As the first designated Virginia Clean Marina, Smith Point believes in keeping things simple and clean - they do not have a pool or any twenty-first-century amenities on-site. Instead, visitors find entertainment in crabbing, walking in the rural setting or soaking in the beautiful scenery and sunsets. Smith Point is also known for being one of the best fishing destinations on the Chesapeake Bay.
Smith Point Marina is a sponsor of the Casey Neal Roger Rockfish Tournament and a weigh-in station of the Northern Neck Angler’s Club, making it a great destination for fishers. For sailboat rates, please contact us directly.

The marina is very quaint in a beautiful rural area. The dockmaster was very helpful, and facilities were older but clean. Docks were older, but in decent shape and the power was excellent. Very good transient stop.

Charming old school boat yard. Clean and functional facilities (showers, toilets, & laundry). Solid fixed dock. The entry is a little tricky. Pay close attention to the channel makers. We saw no less than 6 (5 at MLW) on our way in.

Great marina although a little hard to pull into for the unfamiliar.

Dan was great. Very helpful and gave great instructions on entering the harbor. We are 47 with a 16 foot beam and it was tight getting around the final markers into the marina. Good 50 amp power and very hospitable.

I came in here late. This is a curious approach, so I called and the owners could see out their window and gave me good directions. A boat after me came in later and left early. The owner was there both times to help with the lines.
Good spot for the semiannual migration as you don't have to take a lot off time to get back to your north-south route.

Welcome relief after choppy Chesapeake. Calm entry, tight but well marked. No restaurant close by but nice quiet place. Owner nice man. Fairly well stocked store. Clean facility. Good stop.
