Great hurricane hole. Iffy service work. Staff is OK, service management has a no quotes policy and poor follow-up on work done. Had bow thruster work done that was weeks late in being completed and ultimately completed by a different yard, though they did not charge for the work they were unable to finish successfully

Great protected marina! Good service yard at reasonable rates. We repowered and had the hull and deck painted following some hurricane damage. Very satisfied.

We have a cat that barely fit (3” on either side) in the slipway and the staff took great care with hauling and launching. Very friendly and I considered the work to be better than a lot of yards. If projects were delayed, more expensive than planned we were informed as the projects progressed. It’s also very protected and we weathered a hurricane on the hard there. Owners can work on there own projects. My only concern was our boat set on the hard near the paint booth and felt like some protection from the overspray might have been prudent. We didn’t have any but it was a nagging concern. I their defense it was the only spot for my cat and I was grateful just to get in there. Fees and rates were about on par with most yards in the area. I would definitely return.

I am giving one star for two reasons. There is no marked channel in. At low tide today, I gave up when the depth meter said 2.8 feet (I was going straight in but was about 100 yards out). Secondly, I tried to get gas yesterday - nobody answered the radio. When I called on the phone a lady answered and said all the guys had gone to lunch. Today, (at 3pm - well past the lunch hour) no answer on either the radio or the phone (several tries each). This marina has twice lost my gas purchase business.

I stopped here last July (2018) for the night. The GFCI power did not work and I had to leave and find another marina on up the ICW. Apparently, GFCI power is only useful to new boats with special wiring.

This is as much a boat yard where work is done as a marina but I totally agree with the previous reviewer. A small hurricane hole of a place with nothing nearby. A great and safe place to leave your boat. The staff is fantastic and the dock master Mike Loch is the best there is.

Incredible. This is the calmest marina I have ever taken a boat. We now layover here twice a year to see family and leave our 43ft sailboat for a few weeks. Never even a ripple in the basin. The marina manager and dock master are as friendly as it gets.
