South Port Marine is your one-stop shop for all of your boating and vacation needs! The marina is located across the Casco Bay bridge from Portland’s historic Old Port district - a great jumping-off point to explore South Portland. Grab a water taxi and head into town to enjoy some amazing history and modern day fun.
South Port Marine is a full-service facility staffed by experienced service technicians. The marina also has self-serve amenities for do-it-yourself jobs. There are pristine showering and laundry facilities onsite, as well as a beautiful picnic area with grills. Make sure you catch a beautiful sunset over the harbor! There are many activities at the marina to enjoy. The Snow Squall Restaurant and the new, Foulmouthed Brewery are steps away from the docks. Teaser Charters is also onsite and available to schedule private fishing charters for the anglers in your group.
Guests will find a number grocery stores nearby for stocking the galley. There are also cute retail boutiques where you can snag some cool souvenirs before heading out! Last, but not least, South Port Marina has a fully-loaded fuel dock and pump-out station. Fill up and pump out before setting out on the water.

Beware strict cancellation policy
Stayed twice in September.
Pros: Very nice people. Well stocked parts department. Nice protected docks without the constant roll across the harbor at DiMillo's. Couple of good clean showers and laundry. Easy walk to two grocery stores and two auto parts stores. Easy rideshare over to Portland's infinite restaurants. Take the fire truck tour to get overview of the city.
Cons: Like most places these days staff is short so we came in twice without dockhand assistance (not a huge deal though). They told us both times to bow in but our power is on the stern so we requested and were okayed to change (don't be afraid to ask for what you need). The biggest issue, a strict cancellation policy. I'm a fan of Dockwa. Seems to work quite well and so far as we have traveled 2,000 miles marinas have been flexible with changing plans. Not so South Port. I made a reservation on 9/11 for two nights starting 9/17. I then requested cancelation 17 hours later. I was offered a credit to use the nights another time with a one-year limit. I will be looking at those cancellation policies much closer going forward.

Stayed here 3 nights to wait out weather. Dock master Maddie has a great attitude. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The marine store has very broad coverage and was clean and well organized. The restrooms and showers were very clean and very nice. There is a laundry and Wi-Fi as well. There are a Shaw's and Hannaford supermarkets and several restaurants within walking distance. It is a $9 Uber fare to old port city.

Everyone was very friendly and efficient. The facilities are very neat and clean. The ships store is well stocked. Also, their parts department can order what they may not stock. Very easy access. We would stay here again. Restaurants are six blocks or less away. Transportation to Portland is easy.
