Historic Charm and Essential Amenities at Old Lyme Dock Marina

A trip through the Long Island Sound would not be complete without stopping at the quaint New England towns that dot the Connecticut River shoreline. Old Lyme Dock Marina offers cruisers an excellent stop for the night, where they can explore the historic charm of Old Lyme. Old Lyme Dock is situated just a short distance from Old Lyme's Historic Town Center on Lyme Street. Here, guests will find charming streets, lined with vintage homes, galleries and boutiques. Also nearby is a modern-day commerce area with a grocery store, banks, Post Office, a Hair Salon and other shops. Finally, there are several tourist attractions worth a visit, including the Florence Griswold Museum and the Lyme Academy of Fine Arts.

From the docks, guests can walk to nearby restaurants, including two of the area's most noted formal dining establishments. These are the award-winning and romantic Bee & Thistle Inn, the formal and historic Old Lyme Inn. The Old Lyme Dock is happy to offer transient guests transportation into town.

At the marina, boaters will have access to a number of amenities, including clean showers and bathrooms, water and a dockside store. The store onsite sells ice, drinks, snacks and other sundries! Old Lyme Dock also has a fuel dock with both gas and diesel, so guests can fill up before they head out for a day on the water.
