Channel coming into marina was well marked...just make sure you follow it all the way to the marina. Never saw less than 12 ft at zero low tide. The instructions were to call right before arriving and it took a while to get a call through to the marina/hotel reservations. No one met us, which was ok...we really didn't need assistance. The fixed docks in great shape, electrical and water hookups all good. A bit of a walk to restrooms but they were clean; didn't use showers. One other boat came in for a day while we were there, so very quiet. We enjoyed the holiday attractions at Moody Gardens. Really didn't use any services at the hotel. Definitely would visit again during the holiday season.

This marina has the bones to being a great marina but it doesn't appear that it is considered to be part of the resort. The power and water was sufficient for our 2 night stay but the docks were absolutely gross with bird crap thick everywhere. We did complain and they did come down and hose off part of the dock which helped with the smell. The first floor restaurant is mediocre and painfully slow

We stayed here a few nights in early January, so factor that into our review. We were the only boat there except a large yacht which I think is always there. When we first arrived we called the front desk and they sent a security guard in a truck to pick us up. They usually use a golf cart but it was cold and windy. Security guard wasn't thrilled but brought us to the front desk. The rest of the time we just did the 1/4 mile walk to/from the marina. Power/water at the slip was good. The bathrooms are a bit of a walk. The men's bathroom was dirty and the water pressure was low so I didn't bother using the shower. Moody Gardens themselves were neat, and you get a discount for staying there. The marina itself was just okay though, and kind of pricey considering the time of year we were there.

Marina unfortunately is not manned. To dock an additional $100 deposit is required, and you must check in at the hotel. The number listed for the dock is not manned, so calling the hotel desk is required, which I had to google. They do offer a shuttle, but must be requested. It a bit of a walk from dock to hotel front lobby.
A Note from the Marina:Snag-A-Slip reached out to the marina manager for further comment but did not hear back regarding this review.

Great first trip for us. Easy in and out. Excercise caution in the channel, favor port side on entry. Oyster beds on starboard. Go all the way past Marker "28" to avoid shoaling before turning for marina.
Bring a welcome mat to place on the dock and a hose with sprayer. Lots of bird droppings but the boat stayed fairly clean. Geat pool, swim up bar, spa and attractions. .
