Nice huge marina, with plenty of slips available, and very protected with friendly staff. Plenty of places to eat close by. We rented a golf cart for 15. 00 /hour. To get to Food Lion a mile away. Laundry is only 1.50 a load. The anchorage outside the marina is also big enough for 3 boats.

Somers Cove Marina is really nice. Good depth. Dockhands were available. Floating dock was nice. Happened to show up during a Bluegrass Festival. Not only did they have complimentary tickets, but also gave us a ride there and home at 9:30 pm. You stay 3 nights, get 4th one free and a piece of Smith Island cake.

Large, empty marina with a relatively easy entry. Channel had at least 5' when we went through. Of the 24 or so slips on our dock, only 5 were being used and 4 of them were transients. The gated grounds are well kept and the low-income housing across the street is an indication of the area; depressed. The marina has bikes you can use and a golf cart you can rent should you need groceries or what not. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Fisherman's Grille is a short walk with some of the best fried oysters I've had on this trip. One of the highlights was watching the crab fishermen unload blue crab right there at the edge of the restaurant! There's a visitors museum that was closed while we were there but has some really cool outdoor displays.

Have to agree with the previous poster, this is good for one night but nothing more than that and the empty slips reflect it! Because of that, I'd have to say it's an "easy in, easy out" marina. Staff is friendly and helpful, but I'm not sure I'll be venturing to the showers. It's a gated marina and from the looks of the surrounding area it's not to keep the boaters inside. We did receive a free piece of Smith Island cake upon checking in with the marina. Neat story behind it but I'm not going to go out of my way to get another.

Somers Cove is a very nice marina. The docks were concrete floating docks in good condition, and with pilings between slips to keep you off your neighbor and guide you in. Also a T-head for the larger or wider boats.
Restrooms and laundry were in good condition, although the laundry is not air-conditioned, but the restrooms/showers were. There are actually 2 sets of restrooms/showers, but we only utilized the ones at the office.
Dock office/store is nice, has a few things you might need/want, and they have ice cream. Hershey Chocolate covered vanilla on a stick for 80 cents. Can't beat it.
Pool was big, and clean. Only down side is they sell memberships to locals, so it'll get crowded at times.
Restaurant on site was a bust. The Red Shell Shanty is a converted outdoor venue, with not many items on the menu. The admiral said the crab cake was good, but the hamburger (special of the day) I got was horrible. Not much meat, and the crab dip that was applied was not enough and little or no crab in it at all. Probably my fault for ordering a hamburger in the crab capital of the bay.
The town of Crisfield is another story. It's not dead, but it has four toes and a foot in the casket. Most of the storefronts are abandoned, and there are many houses that are condemned, and a bunch more that are abandoned and should be condemned. Sad to see, since most of the homes are the typical Queen Anne style architecture of the late 1800's early 1900's, and someone convinced a lot of people they should enclose the front porch. NOT a good idea.
And lots of BIG churches. Of course, I'm not sure they get filled on Sunday morning, but they are quite the spectacle.
I'd stop again for a night, but not for an extended visit. Just not enough there to entertain you for more than a day.

This imarina is great, and Crisfield the town is a diamond in the rough. The marina had beautiful cement floating dock for transients, to include a T-head for larger boats. The pool and bath facilities were very well maintained and looked new. Staff were wonderful, with FOUR dockhands there to help get our 18' beam into a 20' slip. If you're looking for a resort tourist town you will not find it in Crisfield. But if you want to get a feel for the life and history of watermen on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay of yore then this town is worth the stop. Recommend the nearby Tawes Museum. Use the free bikes to ride through town or to the grocery store. They are working on even more improvements, and I look forward to returning to see what they have done!

Spent one night in early July 2020 using the floating dock. Facilities were fine, but I didn't enjoy the town of Crisfield much. This was my second visit to Crisfield and for my taste it lacks any charm. The small museum adjacent the marina was open and because of Covid there was no entry charge. Even if we had paid the small fee, I think the museum was worthwhile.

Arrived July 1, 2020 found the marina deserted (pandemic). We were staying for a week yet with the nice new clean floating dock T end vacant we were assigned to an old cracked and twisted green slime and bird poop covered pier. We were left to clean a spot that we could step on and off of so that we could connect our electric while the staff retreated back into their air conditioned office. Not a fan.

This Marina is a gem! Docks are large and very well maintained. The bathrooms, pool and outside areas are clean and very nice! We have a full keeled steel sailboat which is difficult to maneuver. We found the staff (lead by Mary) to be SUPER in helping us pick a dock we could easily manage. As soon as we were in the channel, we hailed them and they promptly came to assist. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. It’s a nice community. We will be back again. Crisfield has a nice library, visitors bureau, museum, beach and easy to walk and ride your bike. The charted depth of the channel may be in error, as we observed greater than 10 feet at high tide when coming in. The channel is clearly marked. Put Crisfield and Somers Cove Marina on your list of places to visit!

If it were possible to give 10 stars they'd get it from us!!! We are headed south and have been delayed here for over a week due to engine problems and this staff has done everything in their power to see to it, not only that our needs have been met, but that we have had an enjoyable time here in Crisfield.

The facilities are top notch with new floating concrete piers, immaculate bath house, fresh/free coffee in the morning, loaner bicycles (free for the first 2 hours), a Boater's lounge, and laundry. Tom, the Marina manager, has been not only a wonderful host but has become a friend.

And this review would not be complete without including the amazing little town of Crisfield. Although somewhat economically depressed, it is beautiful, peaceful, and I have not met kinder, more hospitable people anywhere. We have been treated with such kindness and generosity by everyone, including a lift to the grocery store and personal car tour of the town from none other than the mayor himself.

There's plenty of eateries in walking distance, grocery and hardware store about 1.5 miles away. We walked to church on Sunday.

When cruising Maryland's eastern shore be sure not to pass up this little gem.

We have been to Somers Cove a couple of time and have always found the facilities clean, well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. However, this past week we came there for our MTOA Rendezvous and the entire town went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. Although it rained for most of our visit, we still had a great time because of efforts of the staff at Somers Cove. They never sleep (literally there is someone there 24hrs a day) and they all did all that they could to provide for us.
