Slaughter Creek Marina

Taylors Island, Maryland - MD, United States

Quiet, Central Getaway at Slaughter Creek Marina

Slaughter Creek Marina is a serene getaway on Taylors Island. The marina is centrally located on protected Slaughter Creek, just 4 miles from the Chesapeake Bay off the Little Choptank River. Slaughter Creek Marina is convenient for crabbing, fishing and adventuring. In fact, this spot is also great jumping off point to explore the Eastern Shore, including Tilghman island, St. Michaels, Crisfield and Cape Charles. Boaters who are looking for a quiet home base set in an idyllic location will love this marina. While quiet, there are some great amenities including a pool, bathhouse, boat rentals and golfing nearby. There are also facilities for motor homes and extra lodging in the area. The marina is pet-friendly. Guests should say hi to Rags, the famous dock dog who will perform all sorts of hunting and swimming tricks for treats. Last, but not least, Thursdays-Sundays boaters can party down at Palm Beach Willie's, an on-site restaurant and Tiki Bar that sits right on the water. Read More

I have had my boat there for many winters. There is a ship store that has many items that you need and Robert is a good source for advice and can order almost anything that the store doesn't have and get it in a day or so. The marina is pretty well protected from heavy weather. Since it is across the bay from Calvert Cliffs, good fishing is not very far away.
