Wells Cove is a centrally located marina that serves as one of the area’s great launching pads for day trips to wonderful locations such as Rock Hall, Baltimore, quaint St. Michael's and historic Annapolis. Boaters who wish to stay at Wells Cove won’t be disappointed – the marina has a great pool and is within walking distance to popular restaurants and bars, including The Jetty and The Big Owl Tiki Bar. There are plenty of outdoor activities nearby and a ton of regularly scheduled events on-site and around the region during the summer.
Despite its location near the party life, Wells Cove marina has a romantic, quiet vibe for couples and families.

Wells Cove Marina is a hidden gem in a fantastic location. We were greeted by a friendly and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The marina itself is beautifully maintained. The location is excellent—close to hotels, dining, and shops. We look forward to returning and highly recommend this marina to anyone looking for a great spot to dock and enjoy the Chesapeake Bay area.

Wells Cove Marina was very easy to locate and enter. They called me that day to confirm my arrival and offered assistance with docking, having a 28 ft boat and the large slip, docking was no issue. This is my second time docking overnight there and I will definitely use them again.

Wells Cove provided a great safe harbor for my boat for the weekend. The staff were very friendly, and I could have used the pool if I wanted. I would definitely use Wells Cove again for a visit to the Narrows!

I spoke with Nick in advance of my stay as he wanted me to know which slip was mine and how to get to it. The facility is clean and well-kept and Jeff and Nick were both helpful friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

As a "transient" we loved the marina, the floating docks, the other people here in the marina, and the staff. Jeff, the dockmaster, was there when we needed a place to stay for 6 weeks. His staff, Nick and Evan were constantly working to keep the docks clean (mostly from duck poop) and always willing to help you with anything you needed. Some might complain about a local, and poplar, bar not far away and their music. The music level is lowered at a reasonable time every night. Some have complained about lights, had we wanted to be in dark marina we could have very well stayed somewhere else or anchored in a dark cove somewhere. To us, sitting on the deck at night looking at the night lights and listening to the distant sounds of music was quite nice. We would not hesitate to come and stay there again. This is a good example of the difference between the needs of transient vs. resident dockage. As a transient I don't need to be next to a bar that has loud live music. I don't need to be given a slip underneath the Hilton Hotel with the 24 hour a day lights glaring in my window. I don't need to be directed to a back-in slip with adverse wind conditions. I didn't really need or use the week wifi.
But I got all that on April 22, plus a full season fee of $3/ft.
At least the floating docks are in good condition.

Wells Cove Marina is a wonderful full service marina. They have floating docks, transient slips (only a few left now!), a pool and clean air-contioned bathrooms. The marina is very conveniently located walking distance from 5 bars and 5 restaurants. The manager (Jeff) is very helpful and knowledgeable. Resident slip owners and renters love this place.
