Located in the Port Covington area of Baltimore, Maryland, Baltimore Yacht Basin is right at the 'front porch' of the city. During each stay, guests will be able to enjoy fantastic amenities on the property, including a Snag-A-Slip favorite, Nick's Fish House. The restaurant is home to fresh seafood, delicious land-fare, and freshly made cocktails. Don't be afraid to try your hand at picking some fresh Maryland Crabs! There is both inside dining as well as an outstanding waterfront dining deck. The restaurant offers an awesome happy hour, as well as great nightlife with live weekly entertainment.

Guests will be able to see all of the fantastic development going on in the Port Covington area. From the marina, it's a short walk to the newly opened Sagamore Spirit Distillery. Here visitors can take a guided tour and catch a glimpse into the process of creating the carefully crafted Sagamore Rye Whiskey. You can also enjoy lunch at Rye Street Tavern, which offers both indoor and outdoor dining, as well as an American style-menu featuring locally-grown ingredients. The restaurant also specializes in serving American spirits, craft beers and wines, and of course, their very own Sagamore Rye Whiskey.

In addition to having great amenities onsite and nearby, Baltimore Yacht Basin is a quick cab or rideshare to just about anything in the city. Fells Point, Federal Hill, and the Baltimore Inner Harbor are all at your fingertips! Each area will have tons of great shopping and endless notable restaurants, amongst many other activities. If you are in town during baseball season, you must grab tickets to a game at Camden Yards to see the Orioles play ball. Nick's Fish House provides guests with $7 shuttle rides to and from every Orioles home game!

I came in late and was still greeted at the slip and received help tying up. The marina has excellent security and is in a sheltered area.

The marina attendant, Zion, was very helpful and friendly. Main reason for the average rating was that the advertised car shuttle service on the Yacht Basin's website was non-existent. Maybe it was a relic of the covid shutdown, but that shuttle was a major part of the reason I chose the Yacht Basin over the Baltimore Harbor. I did put in the comment of my reservation that I would need a shuttle at a specific time for a specific number of people. Especially with the ongoing construction in the area, that part of South Baltimore is completely inaccessible by foot. The Yacht Basin should take down the shuttle service feature from its website. The dock decking material could also be upgraded.

I arrived late and my slip was ready. I had some trouble with the 30 amp connection and the staff came out and got me set up. I have stayed here before and the service is great, as well as the location.
