Great Community and Fun at Marina Shores in Virginia Beach

Marina Shores is located in beautiful Virginia Beach on Long Creek, just off the Lynnhaven Inlet. It is a perfect option for boaters who are looking for a getaway at the beach or a convenient stop while cruising up and down the coast. Boaters will enjoy its family-friendly and pet-friendly environments, as well as it’s prime location just two blocks from the beach and other local attractions.

Marina Shores has a 'local's favorite, on-site restaurant, a large saltwater pool with poolside bar, banquet facilities, shower & laundry facilities. They also have all floating docks, a full-service pump out station, covered fish cleaning station, full-service fuel station, WiFi access, and much more! Guests looking for some water activity can also rent kayaks and paddleboards on-site. Last, but not least, this marina prides itself on its helpful and welcoming staff, who go above and beyond to ensure all their guests have a great stay.

Boaters should note that this marina sits between two bridges, so this may not be an ideal location for sailboats. Since the marina is located in the Lynnhaven Inlet, this marina is a safe harbor from storms and hurricanes.

We really liked this place, especially the pool and bar! There wasn't a lot going on, but a short dinghy ride brought us to a row of waterfront restaurants.

We arrived on a Sunday when the marina was closed, so we are unable to rate the staff. Pool and bar/restaurant was excellent. .Shower facility was okay--it's shared with the pool, so everything is wet and it is not air conditioned. Fun place--we would stay again!

Marina Shores is a five star marina. The people are friendly. In the season, the pool and Surf Rider restaurant are tons of fun. Be on your cgme when coming in though because the currents can be tough in Long Creek. One other note, if you have never come in Lynnhaven Inlet please be aware that as soon as you come under the Lesner bridge into the inlet you have to come hard to port and follow along just off the restaurants and then up the creek. If you come under the bridge and head straight to the red and green markers directly ahead of you you will run aground on a sand bar which used to be an island. In any event, I came into Marina Shores planning on staying for a month or two and here I am, a year plus later, planning to stay though this coming season, "cause it's just that much fun:)"!
