Frequently Asked Questions

Snag-A-Slip is a new way for booking boat slips online! We offer an online boat slip rental system- just like with hotel rooms – for you to easily book marina slips quickly and easily – it’s as easy as Explore. Book. Boat.

Snag-A-Slip is currently available up and down the East Coast. Today, we are heavily concentrated in the Chesapeake Bay and down the ICW and coast to Florida. We’ve even picked up our first international marina, so you can now Snag-A-Slip in Antigua! Stay tuned for lots of new marina additions and region openings…we are expanding daily.

Type in a marina, state or town of interest. Then simply enter your travel dates, boat length, beam and draft, power requirements and click search. Please be sure to round your numbers up to the nearest whole number. Our system will match your search criteria with available slips in the region. In the event there are no slips available, we will show slips for the next closest region.

If you just want to browse, that’s cool too! You can see all the regions where we have slips linked under the slider. Once you find a marina you like, click check availability. From there you will be prompted to add in your dates and boat requirements to check availability and snag your slip.

To the extent you are eligible to cancel or change your reservation, such cancelation is subject to the marina’s cancelation policy noted in your booking confirmation or otherwise provided to you by Snag-a-Slip.

You can reserve slips as far in advance as you would like. So, whether you are planning your entire summer or whether you are planning the upcoming weekend, we can help.

We do recommend that you reserve your slip during normal business hours. If you book after 5pm, we will do our best to confirm your reservation as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours from the time of reservation.

Our website is mobile-friendly so feel free to search and book on your phone and tablets. We want to make it simple – so you do not need to download anything at anytime. You also don’t have to give us any personal information until you book.
