East 55th Street Marina is a Lake Erie Marina adjacent to downtown Cleveland and has been operated by Cleveland Metroparks since 2013. This marina is the perfect stop for all of your boating needs! Whether you're spending a day on the lake, stopping for a bite and some live music at e55 On The Lake Restaurant And Bar, or filling up your tank for the next fishing trip, East 55th Street Marina has something for everyone! East 55th Street Marina has many new facilities that are open to the public, including a 1,200-foot fishing platform, a fish cleaning station, a fully stocked bait shop, and marina store, and a brand new Valvtect Marine Certified fuel dock. You'll be covered at the ship store - where they sell live bait, fishing tackle, bagged ice, cold beverages, boating needs such as life jackets, cleaning supplies, dock line, and first aid kits, as well as unique gifts! There is not a boat ramp on site. The nearest ramp is the E 72nd Fishing Area and Gordon Public Boat Ramps. Very friendly marina. Lots of season slip holders on weekends. Restaurant (weather permitting) next to marina office. Bathrooms and showers sufficient. No Laundry or WiFi. If you like long walks or have a bike, you can get to the city and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (about 3.5 miles).

Protected marina located on the east end of the Cleveland breakwater. On entering from the west facing channel entrance proceed past the piers to the fuel dock and bait shop. On 27 July I paid $3.45/gallon for diesel. The bait shop includes a convenience items including ice cream, candy and beer. An open air restaurant is adjacent to the bait shop with a good food and alcohol selections. Restroom and shower facility is clean with hot water. Water depth in fairway is 19 feet and shoaled to 10 feet at fuel dock. A freeway and small plane airport are next to the marina, but I did not find the noise bothersome.

We were forced to return to our home port because of mechanical problems. I called the staff and they quickly and politely agreed to cancel this reservation, worked with Snag-A-Slip staff to arrange a refund of the fee.

Marina was easily accessed from the east end of the Cleveland break wall - even when Burke Lakefront is under a security alert for Air Force 1! Staff was helpful, including dock master helping us work through an issue with shore power. On site cafe had an eclectic menu, outdoor seating for social distance. Part of the Cleveland metro park system, nice trails to walk or ride to the east.
