B & E Marine the Ideal Transient Destination in Michigan City
Please note that B & E Marine cannot take sailboats. Also, this is a family-oriented, secluded and quiet location by design. Groups are welcome, but parties are not.
B & E Marine is located along the coast of Lake Michigan in Michigan City, IN, which is just 38 miles from Chicago by water. A prime destination spot in the summer, Michigan City offers visitors the best of all worlds. From shops, restaurants and bars to great beaches, golf and local attractions, boaters on Lake Michigan will find plenty to do in this great town. Those in the know will rent a slip at B & E Marine, which is within walking distance to the heart of town and the zoo. Guests should also check out Blue Chip Casino and Spa, as well as the local Lighthouse Outlet mall!
Boaters looking to stay onsite at the marina won't be disappointed. B & E Marina offers guests a number of amenities, including a great pool and picnic areas where people can gather. Other features include a lounge, laundry, bath houses and WiFi (coming soon!).
In addition to its amenities, B & E Marine also offers pump out services and fuel (both gas & diesel). Boat service is also available on site.

Great marina, unfortunately it is also the last one along the eastern Lake Michigan shore. Floating docks and helpful staff! Only issue is not with the marina but with local cops who are overzealous patrolling the park next door. I got myself almost arrested for walking our two small dogs there. There are no signs about dogs when you exit the marina and this cop went ballistic when he saw me walking our dogs there. So, be careful if you have dogs on board!
