In the event that you need to cancel within the 48 hour window, you may be issued a credit towards a future stay at this marina, at the discretion of the dockmaster. HOURS: Please note, the marina is not actively staffed on Saturday or Sunday. Management contact details will be provided in your pre-arrival email for questions or emergencies, and a team member will follow up with docking information for you.

When I arrived in early afternoon and called for a slip assignment, the marina was CLOSED for the whole weekend. No marina personnel were on the premises. My confirmation on 5/31/22 made no mention of this. With the help of a current slipholder and after several phone calls, I finally located an Oasis manager (Leanne) and 2 dockhands. It took them 2 hours to identify an available slip wide enough for my boat with functioning electric outlets and finally get me into a slip. The piers were in such bad condition the dockhand had to fix several loose boards at my slip. They were UNSAFE. The overall appearance of the marina was very poor. On the last night of my stay I discovered the water for the marina was turned off due to a system leak, making the toilets & showers inoperable for the remainder of my stay. In 22 years of boating I have never had such a bad experience at a marina. I would like a refund for my experience.

At the time this customer stayed, the marina was not staffed over the weekends as stated in the pre-arrival email. We certainly regret the difficulty this customer had on arrival and will look to improve our pre-arrival instructions stating marina hours. Since the transition to being managed by Oasis Marinas, we have been actively undergoing major beautification and improvement efforts to restore McDaniel. Our goal is to strive to provide remarkable experiences for all our boaters. We will use this experience as a lesson on ways that we might be able to improve our transient service. We hope to welcome this boater back in the future.

The person I interacted with for the rental was great! She was helpful and informative. She was accommodating and very polite. She was very responsive and returned emails and calls in a timely fashion. I know the marina is being improved, but the slip itself was awkward to get into. The wood on the dock was really narrow and had rotted areas. In addition, there were people, primarily a nearby group of men who were drinking and made it uncomfortable. There was a huge RV parked next to the office and a man throwing a net into the water to fish and it was late. It did not feel safe. We ended up deciding not to sleep there and just left the boat and came back in the morning to move it. I think more security and higher slip holder expectations will benefit the marina in the future.

We have double checked the dock where this customer was placed over the holiday, and were not able to locate any rotting. We place most transients on C-Dock, which is one of our best docks and preferred for transient dockage. We're sorry to hear that this customer felt uneasy during their time here, and while we haven't received any other reports of a disturbance over the holiday period, we will be reaching out to this customer directly to address their concerns. We hope to welcome this customer back to our marina in the future for an improved experience.

No one was there in the am. Pumps were not working & we didn't know where to dock. We left & could not get anyone on the phone. Terrible experience
