Gunpowder Cove Marina is located in the heart of Joppatowne, Maryland right near the Gunpowder River. Offering 1x20amp, 1x30amp, 2x30amp, 1x50amp, and 2x50 amp shore power included with your rate, the marina can accommodate vessels up to 40ft with a maximum draft of 5ft in one of their 270 wet slips. If you’re interested in long-term storage, the marina also has 300 high/dry racks on site. With so many options, Gunpowder Cove is great for any boater!

This marina offers pump-out, ice, boat ramp, a parts/supplies store, and a bait & tackle shop. Gunpowder Cove is also a full-service repair shop, with an entire staff of certified marine technicians on hand to make sure your boat is ready for the water! They also prioritize your safety out of the water, with 24-hour surveillance and gated security. Other amenities for your convenience include bathhouses, picnic pavilions, grills, a horseshoe pit, AND a fire pit - a perfect place to watch the sunset! They welcome pets as well, so everyone can enjoy the party!

There are multiple hotels and restaurants under 5 miles from the marina and a 24-hour grocery store just 1.5 miles up the road. Gunpowder Cove is situated just a short ride away from Gunpowder River, and from there, a beautiful, scenic 7-mile cruise to the Chesapeake Bay.
