Located in Alexandria, Virginia’s downtown historic district has its many perks. This town is the third oldest historic district in the United States. The docks are steps away from the colonial culture of the city, waterfront views, restaurants, shops, and more. There are multiple historic tours throughout the city, including walking tours and bike tours, or you can hop on the historic King Street Trolley and take in the sites. Alexandria was home to George Washington for many years, and is in close distance to the George Washington Memorial in Mount Vernon. Christ Church is a must visit if you’re interested in walking the steps of founding fathers and other American presidents.

If you’re feeling adventurous, take public transportation, rideshare, or even take your boat up and dock at one of our many marinas in town and visit a ton of awesome sites in the Nation’s Capital.
Old Dominion Boat Club boasts 53 slips that can accommodate vessels up to 55 feet long. Not only is it close to great destinations and sights, the marina also has a ton of amenities. You won’t even need to leave the
property, though we do absolutely encourage some exploration. The marina has an on-site restaurant and tap room for guests, as well as a clubhouse, ship’s store, showers, laundry, and a beautiful picnic area overlooking the potomac. The best part? The marina is pet friendly, so you don’t need to leave your furry friends behind. Old Dominion Boat Club is a must visit while traveling the Potomac.
