We are so excited to introduce five amazing new marinas to the Snag-A-Slip family. These new Snag-A-Slip marinas are from a variety of locations around the United States and every destination is a must visit for a future itinerary. Check them out below!

Marblehead, Ohio

Channel Grove Marina is one of our new marinas located on East Harbor in Marblehead, Ohio, the renowned and beautiful Lake Erie island area. With 35ft slips, 30AMP shore power, and marine services such as winter storage, hull painting and engine repair & maintenance, Channel Grove Marina provides a pleasurable and successful boating experience. The docks are also within 6 miles of Cedar Point Amusement Park, which is truly one for the books. The roller coasters are must visit if you are in the area, even if you aren’t a daredevil. Put-in-Bay and Lake Erie are the perfect destinations for the novice to experienced fisherman. If you aren’t lucky enough to catch dinner, grab a bite to eat from one of the nearby restaurants such as Big Bopper’s Restaurant, a long-standing spot for American staples, or Cleats Club Seat Grille. If you’re cruising the Great Lakes, make sure to make a pit stop at Channel Grove Marina.

They also have shore power of 30AMP, 2x30AMP, 50AMP, 2x50AMP, and 100 Phase 1. The slip depth is a 8ft minimum, so larger vessels can rest easy. Twin Dolphin Marina is located along the amazing Manatee River, a 36-mile-long watershed featuring a man-made reservoir and a variety of wildlife along the shores. If you’re lucky, you can find manatees, alligators, dolphins, and the occasional shark in the river. Kings Kamp Marina is one of our new marinas in the Florida Keys, located in the beautiful Blackwater Sound. The docks are connected to the Marvin D Adams Waterway which will shoot you out into the Largo Sound, home to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and entrances to the Atlantic Ocean. Kings Kamp Marina may be the perfect destination to sit back and relax on your boat to enjoy the tropical climate and rustle of palm trees. With such close proximity to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, there are a ton of snorkeling and SCUBA boat charters to go out and explore the coral reefs during the day and night! There are also a variety of tiki bars within walking distance that make the perfect end to any evening. In addition to their moorings, the marina offers RV sites, tent sites, motel rooms, and cottages. Those using the moorings have access to the transient dock to come ashore whenever you need!

The 75 available slips can accommodate vessels up to 36 ft long and offer shore power of 30AMP and 50AMP. Across from the marina is the Oyster Shell Park which offers water activities and disc golf, as well as the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk. The docks also reside on the Norwalk River Esplanade, otherwise known as the Norwalk River Valley Trail, 30 miles of hiking/biking/camping trail that passes through six towns in Connecticut. The trails offer a unique look at New England history and wildlife as you travel through both forest, town and coastline on your journey. Once in the downtown area, visitors have access to a variety of shops, boutiques, restaurants and activities to choose from so no one will ever be bored!
