Hosted by WTMD, First Thursday at Canton Waterfront Park starts next Thursday, May 2nd. Located in one of Baltimore’s most popular neighborhoods, this is the perfect opportunity to bring the whole crew to enjoy delicious food, drinks, and some awesome music.
For the first concert of the season, WTMD is pulling out all of the stops. May’s lineup will feature a rocking performance by Dualtone Recording artist Mt. Joy, the Grammy-nominated Raul Midón and the fresh soul sounds of Cautious Clay on the West Stage. On the Maryland Department Of Agriculture Stage, they will host a special lineup including Jah Works, SHANGOBAND and Strykers Posse. Check out all the performers here.

Something new to the event this year is an Artists’ Alley, which showcases work by 10 Maryland artists. While listening to great music, you can check out all the incredible artwork by your favorite locals. In addition to fantastic music and art, there will be food vendors for your convenience.

The First Thursday Festival will run from May 2nd until September 5th. The music starts at 5:30PM, and admission is free! This is the perfect place to meet with friends, discover a new band and enjoy local food, beverages and over 50 vendors. There is sure to be something for everyone!
