MAVA today announced that Snag-A-Slip, an online boat slip reservation company, has been selected to present at TechBUZZ 2016. Snag-A-Slip, a Maryland startup, is one of 20 companies invited to pitch on a National Stage in Washington, DC.
MAVA writes that each year “the latest group of 20 startup companies have been selected from a range of industry sectors to be showcased on stage at the final installment of MAVA’s year-long TechBUZZ program for 2016. Since the program was launched in 2011, TechBUZZ presenting companies have received more than $550M in aggregate disclosed funding, with many more investments and acquisitions made under undisclosed terms.”
Snag-A-Slip is honored to be selected alongside various tech companies in education technology, healthcare, and security solutions. TechBUZZ companies are selected “based on innovative technology, approach to a commerce or enterprise problem, or a new twist to a market maker’s approach.” As part of the presentation, we will have four minutes to describe our company, business vision, and product and service.
