Snag-A-Slip revealed major site enhancements today, designed to better serve boaters during the company’s expansion nationally and into the Caribbean. Boaters can now book boat slips from the Chesapeake all the way to the Caribbean!
The website is mobile responsive, and also now features an interactive map so boaters can chart and book their cruising trips all in on place. The company has also made significant updates to its core search functionality, allowing boaters to search by towns, regions, cities, or marina names. To book, boaters just need to provide their boat specifications, power requirements, and desired dates. Marinas with available slips will be returned, and boaters can compare based on price and available amenities — then book immediately. Snag-A-Slip does not charge boaters a fee to rent via their slip booking website.
Dan Cowens, founder and CEO of Snag-A-Slip, is quoted as saying “Given the momentum, we accelerated our growth plans and immediately put the site back into development to accommodate new regions and our boaters’ cruising needs. The company is excited to now be sharing these new enhancements as they drastically improve the user experience for our customers, while giving our marina partners new ways to be found on the site.”
Snag-A-Slip has reported that they now have 70 Chesapeake Bay marinas available for boaters to book slips in, and have also signed marinas in key places along the Intracoastal Waterway and into Florida. The company is now looking to expand into the Caribbean after signing one marina there last week. The company is hoping to help connect marinas with a new generation of boaters.
